Does your logo remain legible at smaller sizes?

Start with the smallest space

Profile pictures and website headers offer limited space. Thin lines and descriptions below a name may disappear when reduced. View the logo at its actual size without zooming, on both light and dark backgrounds. If you must strain to read it, adjust stroke weight or spacing.

Create versions for different purposes

The main logo can combine a symbol and full name, while an icon uses the recognisable symbol alone. Define when each version is used and its clear space. A consistent set of versions reduces later cropping or distortion.

Test print and digital uses

Print an actual-size sample and view the logo on several phones. Check lines, gaps and colour contrast. Mockups are an initial check: materials and printing methods affect detail. Ask the producer to review the files before a large production run.
