Choose a primary colour for recognition.

Choosing brand colours for web and print

Give each colour a purpose

Use a primary colour for recognition, secondary colours for supporting information and neutral colours for backgrounds or text. Every piece need not use every colour. Clear roles make choices easier and discourage adding colours based solely on personal preference.

Check text readability

Light text on a light background may look gentle but be difficult to use. Test actual Thai text and numbers, especially buttons, phone numbers and product details. If readability suffers, change the colour pairing or font weight before adding decoration.

Separate digital and print specifications

Keep screen colours and the producer’s print specifications in one guide. Screen appearance does not guarantee an exact print match. Check material samples and colour proofs, especially gold or dark backgrounds that depend on production techniques.
