Clarify your brand before designing a logo
Two shops can sell similar products.

What should customers remember about you?
Two shops may sell similar products, yet customers choose them for different reasons: one offers speed, another detailed advice. Before drawing a logo, identify what your business does well and what customers should understand. Choose one or two priorities to guide the design.
Build a brief around real uses
List where the logo will appear, including shop signs, packaging, profile pictures and the website. Specify the smallest size that must remain readable, with examples of the personality you like and why. Explain how a warm or professional impression relates to your customers.
Evaluate against the same brief
Review whether each draft communicates the agreed personality, rather than simply choosing a favourite colour. Test it on real media and check the brand name at small sizes. Record the reasons for each choice so revisions stay on course.
